A LITTLE HISTORY…
In 1986, this tournament began as the first spring tournament on the lake sponsored by the American Lung Association.
Our Rotary Club made an agreement with the Lung Association when they were going to disband this tournament so that we could take it over in its third year. That was 1989 and was steered by Club Past President Tim Ayres until 1995, when Joan LaPier and Bonnie Black replaced him as co-chairs. When Joan became Club President, she was replaced by Dennis Cregan who co-chaired for three years. In 2005, Jack Prim stepped in as Bonnie’s co-chair and since 2006, she has agreed to continue as the Tournament Chair.
WEB REGISTRATION:
Anglers can enjoy the ease of registering via the Internet on the club’s secure site with their credit card for both the individual as well as the Team categories any time after January first. Remember, no one can be registered in the Team category unless also registered as an Individual angler (please see the Official Rules for more information). Even if you aren’t paying for your fellow Team members, please let us know who will be on your team so we can be looking for their registrations!

As we have done for many years, anglers can charge their registrations for both individual and team entries on our FISHLINE: 1-877-519-7942 any time after April first of 2008. TEAM COMPETITION:
There is a separate fee for Team play as anglers compete for the highest total points of a combination of any two different species (please see the Official Team Rules for more information).
HOURS:
The Tournament begins at 12:01am on Friday, May 30th continuing until Noon on Sunday, June first. All weigh stations open at 8am every day and close at 6pm, with Headquarters remaining open until 8pm, Friday and Saturday.
HEADQUARTERS LOCATION:
This year we again will be weighing in fish at the Clare & Carl’s Dockside located at the Plattsburgh Boat Basin, where you have found us for the past two years.
WEIGH STATIONS
We operate 7 weigh stations along the shores of New York and Vermont: Rouses Point at Sportsmen’s Pier, Clare & Carl’s Dockside at the Plattsburgh Boat Basin, Indian Bay Marina in Willsboro, Essex Marina and the Port Henry Boat Ramp. In Vermont, we are located at Perkins Pier in downtown Burlington and also up at Apple Island Boat launch in South Hero.
AWARDS CEREMONY:
This will be held on Sunday at 4pm at Clare & Carl’s Dockside – come by land or by lake!
