Newly elected Rotary District 7040 Governor Nabil Oudeh was in Plattsburgh Saturday, July 9, to participate in the 39th Annual Mayor’s Cup Regatta and Festival co-hosted by the City of Plattsburgh and Plattsburgh Sunrise Rotary. City of Plattsburgh Mayor James E. Calnon formally welcomed the District Governor on the steps of City Hall.
New Partnership announced at Meeting
At last Wednesday's meeting, the Rotary Club of Plattsburgh played host to the signing of an agreement betweenCity Mayor Jim Calnon and Town Supervisor Michael Cashman. The two entities will share the same logo & work collaboratively on all things Plattsburgh.
July Board Meeting
The July Board meeting will be held on Monday, July 18, at noon in the Adirondack Room at the Butcher Block. This can be used as a makeup. Attending one board meeting is required for red to blue badge.
Bed Race Committee
The Bed Race committee has begun meeting and planning the 2016 Bed Race. They need 5 Twin Bed Sponsors $300 each. Spread the word! The Bed Race will now be taking place at 11:00 am this year (this is a change from previous years).
The committee will be meeting every other Wednesday after the regular meeting. The committee is looking for volunteers to help with the organization/planning. If you are interested in helping please contact Vicki Marking or Linda Brienza.
Meet & Greet July 27
Come join the Meet & Greet on Wednesday, July 27, at 5:30 p.m. on the front lawn outside The Strand. This event is a part of Jumping in July and there will be live music and a bar. More details to come.

The Wednesday, July 13th meeting program will consist of new members giving their new member talks. If you are a new member please be prepared. New member talks are a requirement for red to blue badge.
