District Governor Sue Bellor presented two special awards at the meeting this week. Sunrise Club Member Roger Black was honored with the “District Web Master” award for all of his contributions to keeping the district website up and running and helping DG Sue. Our Club member Bonnie Black received the “Governor’s Award of Excellence” from DG Sue for all of her contributions including serving as the District Conference Chair, Rotary Foundation Chair and Rotary Leadership Institute Chair
Congratulations to Kit Booth for his 50th anniversary in Rotary and Bob Smith for his 30th anniversary in Rotary
The Fishing tournament has a few openings left for fish weigh-ins. Contact Cathy Forget to sign up. This year, tournament registration is online and by phone, not via mail. Most tournament publicity will occur through social media and on WPTZ.
The next Bed Race Committee meeting is after the Wednesday, May 23 regular Rotary meeting.
Motorcycle Raffle tickets will be sold at the Clinton County Fair Grounds Saturday and Sunday May 26th and 27th from 10-3. We need volunteers to fill 1 hour slots that day. So far we only have 3 people signed up for the weekend so we really need your help. This is the LAST event for Motorcycle Sales. If everyone sells the tickets they have and we do well at the event we should be able to hit out goal. Thanks for everyone’s awesome participation on this fundraiser.
Speaking of the Motorcycle Raffle is in the home stretch. If you have tickets, please sell them or turn them in to Ellen Bouchard or Vicki Marking. Do not hang on to blank tickets. The drawing will be on May 30th at our Club meeting.
