Newly elected Rotary District 7040 Governor Nabil Oudeh will be in Plattsburgh Saturday, July 9, to participate in the 39th Annual Mayor’s Cup Regatta and Festival co-hosted by the City of Plattsburgh and Plattsburgh Sunrise Rotary. City of Plattsburgh Mayor James E. Calnon will formally welcome the District Governor on the steps of City Hall at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 9, 2016, and all Rotarians are invited to welcome the new District Governor.
Bed Race Committee
The Bed Race committee has begun meeting and planning the 2016 Bed Race. They need 5 Twin Bed Sponsors $300 each. Spread the word! The Bed Race will now be taking place at 11:00 am this year (this is a change from previous years).
The committee will be meeting every other Wednesday after the regular meeting. The committee is looking for volunteers to help with the organization/planning. If you are interested in helping please contact Vicki Marking or Linda Brienza.
Meet & Greet July 27
Come join the Meet & Greet Wednesday, July 27, in the front yard outside of The Strand. This event is a part of Jumping in July and there will be live music and a bar. More details to come.
