Collections
The Club will be taking up a collection for MHAB staff at our Dec. 17 meeting in recognition of the quality service they provide us each week.
Toy Drive
Our Rotary Club has been given 100 children from the Christmas Bureau to help have a special holiday. Cards with specific wishes were passed around at the Rotary Club last week. If you were not there and would like to participate, please reach out to Vicki Marking at 518-324-9322 (text). Gifts are due by the Wednesday, Dec 17th meeting if possible. If you can't get it to the meeting, you can drop it off at Vicki’s office (LayerEight) located at 142 Boynton Avenue.
Holiday Meals
Our Rotary Club is working with J.C.E.O. and the Senior Citizens Council to provide holiday meals to needy families and senior citizens. This is the 18th year that our club has provided the fixings for a meal or provided a holiday meal gift card to area families. We are hoping to help more than 45 families this year.
If you are interested in adopting a family and providing a nourishing meal, please contact Ryan Lee at (518) 727-8582 or by email at rclee11@gmail.com.
Family names, addresses, etc. will be assigned in early December.
Save Your Holiday Cards & Decor
After the holidays, bring your unwanted cards and decor to Rotary. Both will be repurposed for the next year as a way to reduce and reuse!
Rotary Foundation
It's time to make your year-end gift to support the Rotary Foundation. Envelopes will be handed out at our next meeting or you can go on-line to make your donation here. To make your gift online, you will need to click on My Rotary and log in.

Committee Meetings
Please check with the Committee Chairs for any specific meeting details.
Rotary Board Meeting - The next Rotary Board meeting is regularly scheduled for the 3rd Monday of the month at MHAB. The next meeting is December 15 at noon at MHAB. Reminder - new members are required to attend a board meeting as part of their steps from a red to blue badge.
New Member Orientation - TBD
Centennial Committee - The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 17, at 11:00 a.m. prior to the weekly meeting at MHAB.
Environmental Committee - This meeting is regularly scheduled for the 1st Thursday of each month at noon. The next virtual meeting is on January 8.
Fishing Classic Committee - In preparation for the 40th annual Fishing Classic June 5 - 7, 2026, the committee will meet monthly via a Zoom call on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 4 p.m. The December meeting will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2025.
Membership Committee - This meeting is regularly scheduled for the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 11:10 am. The next meeting
will be on Wednesday, Jan. 14.
Program Committee - THERE IS NO MEETING IN DECEMBER. This meeting is regularly scheduled for the 1st Monday of the month. The next meeting is on Jan. 3, 2026,at noon at MHAB.
Public Relations Committee - The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2026, after the weekly meeting.
Service Committee - The Service Committee will be meeting bi-monthly going forward. It will be the first Wednesday at 11 am at MHAB. The next Service Committee meeting is Feb. 4, 2026. Save the date for Rotary's Big Day of Service on May 16.
